I would like to be adopted also. I have only been quilting for 8 months and there is so much to learn!

I am new to this site having found you by accident, I am afraid you are stuck with me now. I understand some of you are concerned that if we have a buddy we may not use the site and can understand that. There is nothing like this in my country, I think it is absolutely brilliant and fun too, I will always refer to this as well. It has given me confidence to make a fresh start with patching and quilting. Buddy is very much an American term not normally used over here and I take it to mean friend, we can never have too many of those can we, my hope is that there is room for both. I buy American quilt magazines whenever I can get hold of them, they are far superior to our ones.Thank you to you all for all your in put from a very grateful sewer this side of the pond.

I'd like to be adopted. I want to learn to hand appliqué and am taking a class online. Courage to try and thus, motivation, is an issue.

Perry, you are so welcome, I look forward to helping you. Now I have to go finish a baby quilt if my shoulder and back holds up for awhile.
