I turned a extra bedroom into a sewing room and love it. I used to sew in the dining room and like others on the board if people come over I sure hope they come to see me!! I like having a separate area so I can leave things out. Everyone have a wonderful weekend.

A month or so ago, I found a list of acronyms on this site that was four pages long. And I found that QOV was not on it. I later found out that was Quilts of Valor. There are some on your list that weren't on the other list. BTW, I hate acronyms! But now that I am learning a little more about what they mean, it's not so bad. I have my list printed out, and just have to go to my "dictionary" to find out what they mean.

(But, my DH provides me with plenty of FART's and SEX! Whenever he plans a road trip, he includes stops at quilt stores even if it involves a detour. Just last month he took me to Missouri Star Quilting Company! He even pretends to believe me when I tell him I'm all out of fabric and need to buy more.

I would do the same. If I had my own place. I can't see leaving rooms unused simply because someone else decided to put a name on it.

If I was the only one living in this house what I have as our bedroom would become my sewing room and I would sleep on the twin bed in the room used as spare room/office. I also am spread out into the living room and I would spread out even more if it was only me. Nobody comes to see me anyway except the youngest DD and that is where I would need a daybed. Would get rid of all the other misc junk that DH thinks he needs. He saves newspapers and mags til I throw them and then he wants one of them. I told him too bad --gone.

I bought 47 yards of new fabric a couple of days ago and DH never noticed. Even when it was in a laundry basket waiting for it's turn in the washer. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Either I have too much fabric (NOT) or he just doesn't notice things! LOL My stash now covers an entire wall in my sewing room and I love it!
