I just started quilting . I find that when Im quilting the world goes away. Anything that was on my mind goes away. Its calming for me . I sit and have a cup of tea and quilt and Im in my own little world.

I have done and still do many things. But, quilting combines so many skills, and satisfies a creative itch deep inside. The colors, the fabrics, the patterns, the good friends that are quilters--the list goes on and on. Of all the crafts I do, quilting is the best.
