Have never had that happen to a sewing machine but it did happen to a vacuum cleaner, as my motor burnt up and this may be what has happened to your machine. If the price of fixing it is high, think about buying a new sewing machine.

So glad to hear that you got her back quickly and can continue your projects for that important day. It sounded much worse so it is especially good news!

I was going to say "Holy Smoke"- sorry!. Then I read that you were able to get the machine fixed. That's great and you are so right- God was watching over you in so many ways. Seems God always come through for us. Isn't that amazing?

    Good luck with your projects.

Blessings that you were in the room and that only the machine suffered.

I feel your pain. I sewed my designer 1 to its death and now I have a used viking diamond. I'm just glad you were there when it went, whew!

Martha: So glad you got off with a small repair cost. Didn't want to say anything but I thought it would be major. Just went through the wedding craziness so I can definitely sympathize. Hope everything goes well and you meet all of your deadlines.
