Oh, and it was so wonderful to spend time with the two Western daughters and all five grandkids.

It sounds like you had a great time and you certainly make the right decision to take your machines.

I will be in Wichita for a couple of days in June for a wedding. Could you give the name of 1 or 2 quilt shops?

If you are going to Wichita, Kansas, you must go to Hen Feathers Quilt store on 110 Rock Road. When my son was in the Air Force, we went out there several times and I always stopped there and also when I email them when I need something, it is always sent to Ohio quickly. Just letting you know.

Loved the years I lived in Wichita. It's a good place to live, and being near family is essential in my opinion. That's why I'm in Texas.

You know i've driven by Hen Feathers thousands of times and never went inside.
I think i might just have to stop next time i am in Wichita and check it out.

I'd take it, if I could pull it off. If you don't I bet you will regret not having it. Quilting can provide you with therapy

Glad you had a great time. I went to high school in Wichita, Wichita High School North. It's a wonderful old historic school that has a beautiful campus and had a wonderful faculty when I went to school there!

so glad you like Wichita--but have to say your coment about seeing your Western daughters made me smile--those of us in the Plains states basically don't see ourselves as Westerners--we are the middle! Come again!
