I have made both of these patterns and these are my go to when I need a quick quilt. I just pull FQ in no order, a true scrap quilt and it works. What I like about these patterns,if you do not have FQ you can cut cut the pieces out of scraps .

WOW you guys have been on a roll. I decided to make mine in blue/green with a pop of orange. I have all the pieces cut and hope to start sewing tomorrow at quilt group. I'm making the lap size, this will be my test quilt. The strip that goes down the middle is "not" part of the 12 count. There are 12 blocks in the lap top. I'm on a sort of fabric diet this year so I want to use up fabrics that are scraps and ones I no longer love. I hope everyone will post photos of their Wicked quilts. Thanks for all the ideas and photos .... they really help a lot.

Sandy ~ It sounds like you're on your way.

I made this one a couple years ago. I picked all the same fabric in different colors. I think I used 14 different fabrics.

I'll look forward to seeing yours.
