I am amazed at how high fabric prices have gone up to. I can remember fabric at Walmart being $3.44 a yard and thinking, "Wow, that is to much to pay!" Not any more!! LOL!! I found a fabric store that is closing soon and bought 12 yards of gorgeous reproduction fabrics for $5.00 a yard. I was so excited!! I will be going back and getting more later this week.

You all have such good ideas on where to buy to save money. I also have a huge stash to work from. My worry is for the quilt shops that may have to close, we have lost so many already. I just know I just have to sew and quilt as it has been such a large part of my life I would be lost if I couldn't. Thank you all for your good answers, just shows how much we love to quilt.
