Last week I was at a fabric yard sale in Bangor, Pa. All fabrics were folded into 1 and 2 yard bundles prices at $2 a yard. All kinds of colors. I wasn't the only one there buying. Don't know if they sold out since I didn't go back the second day. This would be a good idea for my kids when I go to that great sewing room in the sky.

Lovely, will sell for $5 and I agree, do not mention that they will be lesser price later on. Pretty much everyone knows that **could** happen. If they really want the bag(s) they will snatch them up right away!

I am currently helping a friend unload her stash. Cut strips are going for $5, yardage is $2. While organizing the yardage, I stapled color coded paper square close to the selvage side. This eliminated anything falling off, and we had several copies of our color key posted. At our local circle last month, we gave our friends first stab at these quilt store fabrics. Sold $900 worth. In July, our annual guild swap meet takes place, where I hope to sell the bulk. Judging from the last sale, I expect a buying frenzy. By the way, as this whole project was my idea, I have been cured of my hoarding tendencies. Win-win

$5.00 is very reasonable and it looks like the bags are very full. I like the idea of wrapping glass and dishes in her fabric, too. Wish I was there. I always need little scraps. Good luck on the sale and safe trip moving.
