MadQuilter...you have a dark side, or at least some dark humour!.... FINISHED is a most coveted word in our group....we all long for it, whether a quilt is fancy or not...it's FINISHED! I'm sure it's delightful! Post some pics!

Well, I couldn't post pics coz it's on its way to a QB buddy.

As for my dark side - I sometimes amaze myself, lol.
One gal at work said she finds it scary that my happy time happens in my dark place. Not sure I agree because my dark place is full of pretty fabric.

I finished the red plaid quilt and made a pillow with the extra block. I like the way it turned out.

I am so far behind!! I hand quilt and it seems like every time I want to quilt something else comes up!! erg.. I have managed to complete (wow, nice to say that!!) 20 pillowcases for Christmas presents, but am so far behind!!! I think I either need to just learn to machine quilt, or send a bunch out to someone so they get done!! Wasn't happy with the last one I got from the LA, so will be looking for someone new. I'm still here...just way behind. :(

Glad to hear you're still here!! Yes, life does get in the way of our quilting. Hang in there and you'll get them done. Why don't you machine quilt? at least your smaller projects. There are a couple of really great laq's right here on the board, they do great work...perhaps try them?
I've posted some inspiration for all of us.....
