WIP's and a SINCERE apology
#41
Oh don't feel bad, we have all been there... I used to be so organized (think boring) and now... well, last year I finished my "divorce" quilt... this is one I started about 12 yrs ago, got the top done and never got back to it.. well, I finished it last year.
I do have about 6 tops in there that are done waiting for further instructions from me to finish them..themselves..haha
Being on these boards is really bad. You see all these wonderful quilts and projects and you just want to do them all....

I am new on here and new to quilting and I am here to say, someone really needs to put a permanent page on here that explains abreviations. Sometimes I have totally no idea what you all are talking about!!! lol

We are in this together. I have lots of WIPs. I think there are about 10 bags, each with one WIP, hanging up and more in a box somewhere and some orphan blocks just waiting to be put into an orphan block quilt, and more somewhere else. The longer I'm in quilting, the more WIPs I have. Oh yes, I intend to finish some this year - I hope.

You know what Dr. Phil says. Not finishing something could mean that you are avoiding judgement of what is completed. My Mother always had something negative to say about everything , and I think my Not completing something has something to do with that judgement. What do you think?

this board is an enabler for WIPS too. I am going to do the BOM that started Jan 1. Finally got my fabric pulled out of my stash and of course had to buy one of them, had to wait for my LQS to get it in and then it was on backorder, waited again. Now it is in and I am a month behind almost. So I had to do something while I waited didn I? lol

When I first joined here, I thought I was the only one with UFO's or WIP, now I tell DH it's part of the addiction process and MOST people have it (and it's verifiable right here-so thanks for the back-up support to my claim)!!! (lol)
