The roses seem to be distracting.

I like the idea of a couple of other replies of taking the two roses off the top and leaving the cluster of three at either the left or right bottom corner. I know from watching decorating shows that groups of 3 are more pleasing to the eye for some reason. If you have the time, try setting it up in a room you don't go into all the time, walk away for at least an hour, walk back in and look at it then repeat for a couple more set-ups. You'll know which one you like best after you take a break from it. (By the way, thanks alot! The song will be in my mind all day!)

How about 1 tiny rose marking the city where she lives?

Great idea but the star interferes as Dallas/Ft. Worth would be right on the satin stitching. Wish I had thought of this before hand...lol.

I also prefer no roses - "less is more" as they say. If you want roses, I like the first one with the roses on each upper corner with roses in the lower right as it balances the curlicue in the upper left corner.

NOW...please tell us what you mean by "digitized"? Thanks a lot, Cathy

I think the block is great without roses but #3 if you're going to add them.
