Hi SouthP- Some fabrics are so great that I find all sorts of ways to use them.
This one has certainly been around the block, as they say.

Thank you everyone for your help and kind comments! Here's a glimpse at one more block, which I like so much I can envision making more for other quilts. This one here is called Devils Claws II or Corner Stars.

Interesting block. Usually what I see are the same blocks so it is neat to see something new. Definitely could be used as a signature block as someone had mention previously in this thread. Nice job of piecing.

I did see one that could have bee it, called bear claw star. What ever it is it's beautiful.
