This is to be a lap quilt made with any and all scraps that
I can piece together. My plan is to trim it in black, but
I would like your input on the border and the backing.
I have the top about one half done. I am still piecing
blocks together. I am going to attempt to send a picture.
Let me know what you think......thanks

I love it. I like how the choice of fabrics make the blocks look different. Like the first blocks in the top three rows, the stars really stand out, but in others the rest of the block appears to be the focus.

Since the black sashing makes the quilt outstanding, could you put a small pieced border using all the different colors, and then maybe a small border of black again? Then maybe the binding could be made from the different colors again? I don't know about the backing.

I think a border of the center pinwheel blocks would look great. Frame that border with a plain border in the black on both sides of the pinwheel blocks, then bind in scrappy bright colors. Adjust the black widths for whatever width you need the quilt. Great looking quilt!

I think the black sashing will work great. Really sets off the beautiful blocks.
