Working with flannel and the Supreme Sliders
1. I am making a quilt for my granddaughter and am using a flannel back. I have to get my little brush out several times to take care of the lint. Is this normal?
2. I was using the Supreme Slider but it was very hard to move the quilt and I ended up catching the slider with my quilt. I decided I was not going to use it if it was so temperamental. I took it out and it was much easier to sew. I have a Bernina 820 and was using the extension table that went with it. Any ideas? Thanks, everyone.

Flannel is very messy when sewing. So expect to clean out your bobbin area much more frequently that usual. It's just the way it is.
I've never felt the need for the Supreme Slider when working with flannel. I don't even use the extension table.
