Just make sure it's WHITE batting, not off-white batting.

Whites and brights can show seam allowances but with a white batt it should be fine. I sometimes re-trim my seam allowances with the rotary cutter if a bit of the colour is out passed the white. I also try to have the shadow on the white be consistent throughout the quilt so if the shadow shows, at least they all
look the same.
