It's an end table. I've seen them before. It looks great. Hope you can get it.

Nice cabinet and should definitely be worth $40.00, The thing that puzzles me is WHY did this person put all their personal info on Craigslist? That is SO dangerous.

It looks like a Duncan Phyfe table. My mother had several of them - don't know what happened to them but I would love to have one. It's a beautiful piece of furniture. That'a a great price.

I have not seen one in years. My Grandmother had one that sat by her chair and she kept sewing stuff in and we were not allowed to go in it. Grab it quick,

For $40.00, I'd jump on it. It has endless possibilities and it looks like it has been fairly well cared for. Try to buy a new table/stand for that amount of money.

It might be good for notions, but I am short enough on space that it sure wouldn't work for me

Yes, it's worth it... I saw the same table at an antique auction recently. Didn't watch to see how much it went for, but I'm sure it was more than $40. These were made as sewing side tables, regardless of what people actually used them for. If it's in decent shape, it's more than worth the price she is asking.

Don't have this type but it's uses are pretty varied. For that price I'd go over and get it right away.!

It's a beautiful cabinet. My mom has a drop leaf table that matches the foot of this. It looks like maybe it was from a set or something. If it is solid & not wobbly, I'd buy it.

Just the fact that it is vintage is worth the price.

I saw one of these for sale locally not too long ago, but it sure wasn't 200.00. I can't remember the price, but less than 100.00 for sure (maybe 75?). Still, I think $40.00 is a decent price, if you can use it and have space for it :)

Worth every penny for a vintage Mahogany table. I'd strip the paint off and refinish the Mahogany to it's original beauty. Good Luck!

yes, just to have a table next to your sewing chair with drawers for all you"stuff" would make it worth it. Jan

I have one that I purchased at a garage sale 30 years ago. I saw one in an antique store about 20 years ago and in poor condition and they wanted $125, as is for it . Purchase it...it is a deal. Susan
