    Actually, if you don't, you will ruin the time you spend working on it and your enjoyment when it's done by thinking "it would have looked better in the other fabric". Don't do that to yourself.

    DUH! Of course you purchase the second color. And yes you buy as much as you can. You need extra fabric and more colors to keep the creative juices flowing toward the next quilt. LOL

    You could always use the first one in the backing. If it is to small just add other pieces to it for a pieced and interesting backing.

    Who will have the finished quilt? We want to see pictures!!
