Yes she is acting like she feels better, we have to take her to the vet tomorrow morning so we will know more about how the progress is going. But she is almost finished with her antibiotics and still on the diuretic, heart pills (will be taking them for the rest of her life).

But she is just tickled to have it you can tell she is happy. So now she will have something that she can feel her Daddy's love wrapped around her if she has to stay at the vets for test.

She looks very happy to be wrapped up in a big hug from her Daddy...The quilt is very nice and she really appreciates it...

Awwww.Sorry your puppy is sick. I am making my chi a quilt this week if I can.
Lola looks like she approves of her daddy's quilt making lol.

She looks like a Chi we had years ago. He live to the age of 22 and my husband is still not over him. Dogs have a way of adding something to your life. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Hope Lola gets the treatment she needs and that her prognosis is good

She is a cute little thing isnt she?

Its just hard to believe I was digging a hole for her almost a week ago and had the materials to make her coffin. This has been the most trying week, and me making this quilt has really helped me a lot.

But 30 four patch blocks were not the most fun to make I will say that and I need to wax my machine and table in the worse sort of way so that my material slides easier. I had the hardest time with the meandering around the border.

Oh Billy, I hope Lola is alright. And I'm glad you got back to sewing. That quilt will comfort her indeed. Please show us when you are done, I will be watching for it.

Carol, my cat Bobbie( Roberta ) is also 17 years old, until this week she was always outside but with it being cold she found her way into my sewing room and is now sleeping on a new carpet square under the spare chair, out of my way and feet. She does not want to move so I had to take her out to the water thinking she will get dehydrated if she didn't drink. I don't think she has eaten anything either. I will try her out later to see if she is alright and just cold.

That is not a good sign when they stop eating and drinking, but since its winter maybe she is just cold and achy. I will definitely be saying a prayer for her and I hope she gets back into the swing of things.

Thank you Billy. I did get her to drink a little water today but everything else she won't touch. Hopefully it is only a cold and being in a warm house will soon have her well again. she has moved herself "out of foot range" so I wont stand on her by accident, smart girl. Thank you for your prayers for her recovery.

Billy and Annya, I hope your pets are OK.
We live near a Chihuahua rescue place, and the guy that walks the rescue dog is huge, it looks so cute. They resocialise them and find new homes for them.
Mr 7 is desperate to have one, but we have no fences ATM. Every time he asks for a new toy, I say, No, we have to save up for a new fence so you can get a pet.
