Is it 100% cotton? If it is a poly blend, you might want to change it out.
I know it sounds wierd, but I had that happen once, too.
and the wrinkles never came out.

My mom used to sprinkle the clothes that she was going to iron, pop them into a plastic bag, and into the fridge for a while, usually over night. Every single wrinkle came out. Sometimes, when I just can't get the wrinkles out, I use her method, and it works every time. Starch on the back side helps too.

I had the same issue before. Sometimes it IS the fabric. Did the steam, starch, etc. nothing worked.

I've heard (in the old days) to use the vinegar and water and a brown paper bag. Never tried it though.

I learned to use a white vinegar soaked pressing cloth during the old Stretch and Sew days. It put creases IN a double knit, but it also took creases out! I had a light weight, white piece of fabric that I used as the pressing cloth. I put it in a small bowl of vinegar, wrung it out and laid it over the fold. Give it a try. It smells very pungent, so prepare yourself!
