Yes farther down in the comments it said there was a mistake and it should have been 7-1/2

by the way the pdf download still says 7-1/4". I may just print it and correct it and then delete it from my computer so I don't forget.

I had the same thing with a quiltshop pattern this week. I will email them, too. Hope mine is as nice as yours.

The actual instructions say 7 1/2". The "1/4" hand-drawn on the picture is a typo. This is why I always read the instructions very thoroughly before beginning!

Is that the pdf from the website or the one she sent you? The one at the website says 7-1/4. She probably corrected the pdf but didn't upload it to the site.

The typed instructions now say 7-1/2 instead of 7-1/4.

However, the photo with the pieces of fabric still says 7-1/4
(as of 2:56 CDT on Nov 20, 2010)
