Go ahead: fix it. You know you want to. Otherwise, every time you look at the quilt, you won't see anything but the corner.

Yesterday a friend showed me a stack 'n' whack star with one blade turned the wrong way. The centers looked fine, but the points didn't match. We tried to tell her to leave it, but then concluded she would not be happy with in 20 years. She would always wish she had fixed it. She took it apart and put it back together - - - the same wrong way. Boo-hoo! She took it apart again and PINNED it so it would go in correctly this time.

Since the quilt isn't sandwiched yet, I would fix it.

It isn't quilted yet, and is close to one edge, I would take it apart and fix it. You won't be happy unless you do

I'd just unpick the offending stitches and hand sew it.

I'm with everyone else; the amount of time it would take to fix is small compared to the amount of time it will take to fix once it's quilted and the fabric continues to fray. Additionally, as it is now, it ruins the look of what seems to be a 4 patch. Your joy at having it fixed will be greater than your current feeling of "I'm done with the top!"

Since you caught it before you quilted, I would just fix it. If you are like me, it would bug me a lot. Hope to see the finished quilt soon.

I agree with them. I have done a similar fix.
