here is one quilt I made from the X Block. It is called Mo's basket. I like it because there is no waste. The pieces you cut off for the blocks are used in the borders.

I have got to say the X block is fun, I have made a flag, and 2 small wall hangings, the instructions come with the rulers, but many patterns available as well, like mo's basket, venitian tiles, and the book in x-block land good luck
