Kids are seeing things like this or making something of something you say. There minds are down there in the dump. It must have something to do with their hormones. My grandson is 14 and he is always doing this. When I start doing my stippling I will be watching and laughing.

Okay the first time I did it that I didn't mean to. Then my ex asked me to make him a quilt. I quilted body parts all over that thing. Nobody but me has noticed them. If the back print is very busy, no one will notice. I still get warm fuzzys everytime I think about that quilt.

Can this be prevented by keeping the mind from wandering when meandering?

Maybe some loopy-loops with FIG LEAVES would cover up the body parts.

This entire thread is hysterically funny! Thanks, you guys! You all have great senses of humor! Hmmm... Now I'm wondering if I've ever meandered a body part...

This thread just started my day with a laugh and a stupid grin. I barely managed not to spit out my morning Diet Dr. Pepper. The meandering itself is funny, then the shrinkage comment, and then the quilt for the ex and other comments. I never thought about covert designs. It gives me a whole new perspective.

Been there-done that- did NOT pick it out! Most people would not even notice- especially after washing!

OMG funny. I just finish a donation quilt that is meander all over. I will have to look at it for body parts. It is for a co-worker who needs a kidney transplant. Everyone at work will die laughing if it has body parts. My mom would be horrified if hers had body parts, although she would never notice. She just doesn't think that way.

We need to see it to decide if it's anything to worry about or just your kid's dirty mind!

Or, perhaps you could continue the theme and add other parts- feet, hands, ears, noses, whatever..............

Your daughter sounds like my daughter! My boys are the ones who never let me forget things like this-of course they embellish the stories & after years they believe their version instead of my-which is the truth. We do have lots of laughs though.

I would have left it .
(notice too that your initials in your screen name were my initials too before I got married - tjk
