This is why I love the quilting board. Now when I do a "what was I thinking?", I know I am not alone.

I have tried a lot of things to keep my rulers from slipping, but nothing seems to help much. I'm going to try the hot glue dots. It is worth a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

My resolution for 2012 is to return anything I touch to its proper place. I'm doing better than my last 64 years, but I'm still a long way from being good at putting stuff away.

LOL, sounds like it might get expensive, too. I'm still using a very simple cell phone. NO APPS!

Yes, and the little sandpaper dots work better on the bottom than the top also. Ask me how I know? :-(

But your fingers grip better though, huh?

Hey Martha, I did piece together all the blocks for the 30s quilt! Haven't done the border yet though. Working on a Dear Jane and a family "commission".

When I read the post I thought she meant the bottom of the ruler as in bottom edge and wondered why it would make a difference if they were on the top edge or the bottom edge.

Dah must be one of those days, maybe it's the weather as it is raining here in Michigan. Need something to blame it on, it can't be my mind as it is already gone.
