Kitsie, trust me I do crazy odd stuff like this to, all the time. And for Grannie, girl I feel you, it's amazing where you can find things. I swear there are little gremlins running throughout my house at times because like you I find stuff in the oddest places and I think to myself, did I really do that? I must have because there it isl

Sounds like a lesson that I would learn - lol. OBTW - putting old fashion "Rubber Cement" , the kind that kids use in school projects (folks outside the US can not find this so I am told), works fantastically as well. Just let it dru for about 30 minutes. Oh did I mention that it too needs to go on the bottom?? Since there is no heat involved, it can not damage the ruler and can also be pealed off easily when it gets yucky.

I did the glue on the bottom and love it now I am not sliding when I cut. Love it. Just finished putting all of my fabric on comic boards and it looks so good and I can see everything I have at a glace.(no more sorting through piles) I saw the hint to Pinterest and I have never been so organized. Love it, love it, love it!!!!! I never thought I would go through 125 boards but I did. Have a great day everyone.

Another quick "gripper" solution is to use clear nail polish sprinkled with salt (on the bottom of the ruler). I usually let it set overnight but found it works great!

It wasn't the pregnancy part that fried my brain but rather the raising of 3 boys and 1 girl. Then you kick in the menopause fog and it is a disaster in the making. Amusing sometimes but mostly just irritating. Ann in TN
