Here are a few of mine. Hope this works~first time posting a pic on an existing thread.
I like using yellow. I don't have much of it, don't know why, but I'm not afraid to put it in there.

Here's a LOT of yellow for you. I think this pic is pre-blocking.

Default Yellow is my favorite color - but

- I don't use it as much as I'd like. pic is of the current quilt top I'm working on. There is a lot of yellow, but also lime green & orange, too.

I like yellow and I like using it in my quilts. It just seems to bring them to life. I think it really looks good with browns and blues.

The quilts all look great. It is amazing that each has yellow but are so different. Yellow is my favorite color yet I don't always quilt in yellow. I guess that will be my next project.

All the yellow quilts are gorgeous! Makes me want to start another quilt, with lots of yellow.

[/I] I detest yellow and green, because yellow makes my skin look green & green makes my skin look yellow. So my colors in clothing are red & blue. Think of it as a child's color box. Get a box of crayons or free paint chips from a discount store & play. You've got to have a contrast color, or a complimentary color. When I made a scrappy hand sewn Grandmother's flower garden summer quilt winter-before-last, I finally realized I had to have some yellow, so all my flower centers were a bright, harsh gold. I even had one or two yellow flowers, with the petals a pale yellow print with tiny brown leaves. It worked out great & I love it, after all, it's going on my bed, not my body. As soon as I have 2 min in my day & remember how to upload pics from my digital camera, I'll post a pic.
