I have a couple of pictures of a quilt I made that turned out to be a yellow quilt. I didn't know I was making a yellow quilt! I have heard that if a quilt is more than 10% yellow, it's a yellow quilt. One picture is of the fabric I used as my focus fabric, and the other is what the quilt turned out like.

These aren't quilts yet since I've only begun assembling blocks this year but I'm doing alternates to a LQS BOM. One set is blue and orange and yellow gets added in a lot. The other is a blue and green paisley that has yellow in every block (I thought the color in the paisley was yellow but discovered last month that it is really tan! oh well!) One of the blue ones looks like the background is cream in this photo but it really is the palest yellow.

Grandson's Christmas gift. The light color is a bright yellow, but the picture doesn't reflect that.

Red face

I posted my opinion earlier and tried to post a picture but the board became unaccessable. So, I'm going to give it another try.

Me too. Shall we do it at the same time as a kind of inspiration to each other?

Thank you for the wonderful yellow journey through the bright sunshine and soft lemon yellows. The quilts are exquisite. My hands itch for a yellow adventure. While reading I was thinking,' How can one make a quilt without a splash or spot of yellow?" Then I looked up at the one opposite my desk - and - no yellow! Unthinkable!
