Not a block but a pattern. Trip Around the World. My grandmother made one for me when I was a baby.

I love the traditional blocks. My favorites are churn dash and Ohio stars followed by baskets.

I’m glad someone else likes flying geese; I was afraid to say that, because in the local BOM/Mystery Quilts I’ve done over the last few years, there’s almost universal moaning about them! But I think they’re great.
