None of mine are perfect and I tell each family member one is given to that perfection isn't me...but the love in each quilt is. It's the same with ones I do for donations....of course I know where the "oopsie" are, but no one else has pointed them out to me.

I probably should not have used the word 'perfect' when 'without obvious flaws' is what I actually meant. As to sell a quilt for what it is worth, that is not my goal because I know that is impossible; it's just I have more than I can give away (ran out of friends and relatives) and think it would be thrilling just to sell a quilt for any price. I may put a couple up and see what happens just for the fun of it. And it will knock 2 out of my storage.

If you were selling to people who are seeing the quilt in person, then I'd say it's not an issue -- they can see what they're getting and wouldn't buy it if they didn't like it. Imperfections when selling on line would be more of a concern for me. Perhaps you could take some close-up photos of typical flaws so there are no surprises.

Amish quilts aren't perfect. I doubt any quilt is no matter how hard you try. I know mine aren't perfect but then I tend toward done is better than perfect. I do fix glaring errors though.

Everything I do our make has some sort of imperfection in it. Most can't see it nor do I point it out. This is between Wakan Tanka and I to know and no one else.

My quilts are not perfect ever! They are made with love and as carefully as I can. My Grandmother would say about a mistake, " A trotting horse will never see it". I've sold a few quilts and never got a price that reflected my time and materials so I gave that up. Now all my quilts are made for love!

Now there's a situation that calls for a "Well, bless your heart!"

Or even "How kind of you to take an interest." Said with no smile and a steely glare.
