I lived it. I remember checks in medium size, pants made with newspaper print and large one color flower designs. Credence Clearwater Revival, Elton John, and the Vietnam War ending.

Orange and avocado and gold, as well as brown, were the home decorating colors. Just look back in some photo albums. Kitchen canisters had mushrooms on them.

I have some perfect 70's fabric it is really from the 70's it is brown with mushrooms on it the mushrooms are orangees,creams,yellows!I can sacrifice a little if you are interested .

I agree, oranges, browns, greens, tans, golds, & large floral prints or plaids. Flower power, smilelies,tie -dyed, paisley, mini skirts. Great music too !
The 70's show would be a good reference.

Mushrooms, avacado green, sunflower yellow were all popular in the 70's. Remember the cannisters and such made out of these? :D:D:D
