    Oops! "her" was my grandma. I've never had real sewing lessons other than 1 semester of Home Ec in jr. high which was sewing, cooking & personal grooming, etiquette, etc.I've just sort of taught myself.

    TeeHee :-) Thanks for sharing your story. I too, tend to jump into things feet first. Makes for some interesting life experience, let me tell you! But the important thing is you finished it, and have continued to quilt. That says something about your tenacity!

    I too would love to hear about quilts 2 and 3. Please don't leave us in suspense....
