I have seen accessories made from old zippers. You can take them apart and having the zipper teeth exposed, you can roll them into beautiful roses. The zipper teeth are the edges of the flowers and so pretty to embellish on a hat or purse etc. I have not tried it yet but have stocked up on zippers to give it a try. There are tutorials on YouTube and accessory books etc.

Most of my zippers come from DM's life of sewing, both from necessity and income. I think her ideas were similar to PaperPrincess! I have certainly inherited and abundance of sewing supplies and fabrics that I will never live long enough to use. Some day, I hope to be able to get all of it together and possibly list the excess on here. Wish me luck!
