I agree.... Now that Christmas is over, I can start focusing on my IRR round 2.
I have a question about appliquéing on quilts... should I put a stabilizer such as light weight interfacing behind the border fabric or just iron on the designs and then stitch around the edges?
I didn't put any stabilizer on mine.

I always use steam and press light. it adheres to both sides and does not make it bulky and you just iron it on with steam. Then I applique right on it and it doesn't move. I love it. really good for little pieces.

I had a wonderful xmas and hope everyone else is enjoying the holidays too!!!
Sharon.....I have your center completed. I didn't like the little mice playing after I had them added (it seemed to take away from the pretty fabric I used for the border) and decided to take them off. Maybe down the road, someone else will decide to add some mice to play with your cats :)

Lori, Here is your center. I haven't added anything yet. I have several ideas just haven't settled on one yet, but will soon. I will post another picture before I ship it out also.

Thanks hope you are feeling better,
Sherryl

Thank you Sherryl....love it, love it, love it and can't wait to see what you decide to add to it :)

Here's a picture of PurpleSharon's center. The green in the border is a such a perfect match to the green in her center but it doesn't show clearly in the picture. I loved how it came out!! Hope you're happy with it too :)

Hanging from my slanted wall, please pardon the wrinkles :)

Lori, I love the green fabric you chose. It does go great with the green in her center.

Hi everyone! Here is Leota's center with the 2nd round completed. Hope you like it. The colors go really well with your center. Sometimes the pictures don't always show as nice as in real life. Sorry it looks like the edges are cutoff in the picture - but only in the picture.

Thanks,
Sherryl
