Arrived home to find really cool charms from all of you wonderful swappers!! Thank you all so much. Even the postal tardiness couldn't dampen my day with these fabulous charms. So many projects for them, so little time!!! Must consider retiring from job, so I can quilt more!

The mail is definitely "snail mail" these days. My mom sent me a birthday card on Tuesday and she lives 6 miles from me and I didn't get it in the mail until Thursday!

USPS is definitely NOT what it used to be!! A year ago we shipped a very important package for our raptor nonprofit the Cypress Zoo in Louisiana who was going to ship two injured eastern screech owls to us. Sent it Priority on Friday, was supposed to arrive Monday morning. They needed it Thursday. On Wednesday, I tracked it to Puerto Rico!! It was there for several days AFTER leaving Louisiana and then going back!
