Hey Barb welcome back! As far as quilts go, its a good thing I get up at 4:30am - gives me about 1.5 hours of quality quilting time before work.
I will put you on my list for projects - I just need some further INSPIRATION................

Hey ladies I contacted Woody and below are her instructions plus the link to a block for that beautiful star quilt using the 60 degree braid pattern.. Note that she used 2" strips for the braids where the template I am sending you is for a 2.5" - so you will need to do some adjusting.
Hi
I can't take credit for the design, I first saw it here and just worked it out http://www.quiltingboard.com/search-...t218251-2.html
I started with a 3 1/2 " square and used 2"strips for the braid. I then cut squares at around 5 1/2" (usually a little bigger), cut them in half diagonally for the outside triangles. I then squared them. The shorter strips were around 4"long and the longer ones were around 5 1/2"long, I mainly just eyeballed them as they were scraps and I just trimmed them later.
I hope this helps.
Regards
Sue

All my June birthday cards are in the mail. I know it will make them early, but today was a good day for getting things done. The birthday babies can decide if they want an early gift or if they want to wait until their big day to open them.

Contest time (finally)
okay I will tell you a clue you must figure out who the famous person is then you have to find out when their birthday is and then match it up with one of the lovely ladies on our board.....
PM me the 5 names of that match the following birthdays:
1)he is the terminator
2) He alerted the Lexington Minute Men about the approach of the British
3)He said " Acting is all about honesty. If you can fake that you've got it made."
4) he is married to a queen but he will never be a King.
5) He is the son of the original Peter Pan.
Good luck ...remember google is your friend!
