I'm reworking a couple of blocks in Amanda's row.. Hubby didn't like them and really - they weren't my favs either.

The pattern I chose is much simpler that what I originally planned, but my fabrics didn't work well with the original plan. Okay. Now i have the juices flowing. I was going to do ribbon patch for the Mardi Gras quilt top but am now thinking of doing Monkey Wrench block. If I connect them right the blocks kinda resemble Jester hats where joined. Then I have a few mask patterns applique. Now I am excited.
