    I love this chicken, and it brings back memories of when my dad, and before him my grandpa raised chickens in a 14,000 chicken broiler house, the kind sent on to stores.

    Oh, sorry, I did get my pearled pins at walmart. I would like sometime to find some others, they have so many cute ones out. Oh, and didn't want to takeover the thread, but got on, and just wanted to go back and see everyone's pin cushions, and they are so pretty, and I am not good at remembering everyone's name on one go around so I made my comments. lol.....

    So cute ladies. We are having fun now. I was inspired to finish three of my UFOs that were sitting there. The turtle just did not work out very well. Filled the chicks with iron filings to sharpen needles as well as serve as pin cushion.

    Ive started a turtle I found the pattern on Craftpassion.com It requires english paper piecing ...so Im trying something new. My three year old grandson says your turtle looks like an allligator... so maybe the alligator ate the turtle.. lol. All three pin cushions are darling regardless.
