Hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. I know I have. My daughter brought a beautiful baby into this world, and now it feels like a better place already!

I see everyone has been busy sewing. I plan on doing that tomorrow. I still need to get caught up from last week, but have planned on a few days for sewing this week

Jaba, love both of your quilts that you posted. I love that you used the same fabrics for the Arkansas Crossroards, I would have never thought of doing that! Think I will save that idea for some baby quilts I need to make.

Dotcomdtcom...sent me a wallhanging with a canning jar with jelly beans. It is so adorable. That was so nice of you Dot. Also love the raccoon quilt!

Sewbizgirl....you are wonderful!
Thank you for leading us through this beautiful quilt. You have done an amazing job teaching us a new pattern and new techniques. Your perseverance is our fortune!

I will post April Birthdays tonight. So please let me know if you do not receive a PM from me. With that being said PLEASE make sure that your mailbox(for PM's) has enough room. Please empty out what ever you can. DOTCOMDTCM your box is full.
Barb

Fraew, love your beautiful quilt! I'm so happy to see it in batiks. Press on and get it done. Can't wait to see that one as a finished quilt.

Barbara, what an adorable little grand-daughter! I am so jealous. She is beautiful. Still waiting for my kids to give me the first grandchild. Daughter just turned 30 but they are still "not ready"... sigh.

I don't think it will take that much... Mine usually go for about $.71. I am going to have them weighed this year before I make that assumption, tho, since rates went up in January. Not sure if that affected letter rates or not.

Everyone remember that your packages need to be as flat as you can get them. Six stacks of 8, plus 2 on top, is really the flattest way to send them. If you can keep your package to 1/4" or less, it goes for first class letter rate (cheapest). If it's thicker than 1/4" it has to go a first class small package rate (costs more).
