Texastam, those are great blocks. I love pieced blocks with all the different but summery fabrics. They are so fun!

Please join in with the fun can’T wait to see your blocks.
This is correct. You will get a variety of blocks back. But, the same number you send in is the same number you will receive back.

Welcome, Darcyshannon!! Looking forward to seeing your creations! These will be really adorable quilts when assembled. I can't wait.

Yea, buddysmom! All of your blocks are so cute.

Judith has a fun job sorting our blocks out. So appreciate her time organizing swap for us. Thank you, Judith!

Yes, any block size from 6.5, 9.5, and 12.5 is welcome. I know I always appreciate receiving 6.5 blocks. They make awesome filler blocks.

Thank you for answering my question. I look forward to participating in this swap.

Well, I will make at least two sets but I am shooting for five. It is so much fun to look at all the blocks everyone is sharing and imagine a summer themed quilt. I am hoping that having this to work on and sharing with you all on-line will help me through a big transition.

I am putting fabric aside and cutting but really will have to start sewing after the main move date of 2/7. I am moving to a new state, Oregon, after living in Washington most of my life. I will miss living close to the lake. However, I am so looking forward to exploring Oregon and my home town friends are only three hours away. Several have promised to visit. Anyway, I will get my sewing area set up and get started mid-February. I am so inspired by what everyone has come up with and can’t wait to see finished quilts come together in the months after the swap.

This will be a fun project to look forward to in your new home, Darcyshannon. Nothing like christening your new home with laughter and the promise of sunny summer times in Oregon represented in a happy quilt. So glad you'll be near some friends and the excitement of exploring a new state. I, too, am moving. Leaving Southern Calif, where I have lived all my life and heading to Idaho. Building a new home with my very own sewing studio! Much to look forward to...for you, as well. Good luck on the move and be safe in your travels!

Darcyshannon-Welcome to the swap! Looking forward to seeing what you create! I lived in Washington for about 6 years, in Enumclaw and in Federal Way and Bremerton. I do not miss the rain...lol. I do miss the green and big trees through....we don’t have that here in Texas. How fun moving to Oregon!

Judith-I need you to pm me your address so I can mail please...thanks!

I am so glad you ladies like the cherry pie block I love it too. I really love fruit pies when I lived in Washington we used to go pick blackberries in the summer and I used to make blackberry pie. It is one of my children’s favorite memories of summers.
