Thank you all for all the wonderful Birthday wishes.
I got woken up by my 5yrs old very early in the morning to tell me "Happy Birthday! Mommy" That was super sweet. Her daddy cooked nice crabs for dinner. I talked to some friends on the phone and via zoom. Overall, it was a very nice relaxation day.

We will be continuing celebrating Birthday month since my baby girl's birthday is at the end of the month.

    I received packages from:
    WendyMcD
    barbarakilber23
    aborning
    Gaijin
    Traveling Gramma
ibex94 (the package is also split, but everything is in there)
    Macy Baby
    Irish Mom

    NZquilter
    Sewbizgirl
    Loveofquilts

    Kele
    HAV4BOYS
    Patrick's mom

    Yum! Yum! Yum!

Thank you for the list, ahwu. Our lists match. I am disappointed that some have not yet arrived, including mine. . Maybe the postal service is out helping the bunny deliver eggs and chocolate treats. Wishing all a Happy Easter and lovely celebrations with family.

Hello BD swappers! WMUTeach has asked me to share my quilt layout for my jelly roll quilt in hopes of inspiring you for the use of your jelly rolls and/or 2 1/2” squares. As I mentioned on the picture thread, I was able to use an entire jelly roll + yardage for BG, sashings, and final border. (I strip pieced the corner stones on piano key border with scrap cast offs). Enjoy!

Well, as you can see I asked for a posting from outside of our swapping group. Teen may be a familiar screen name to many of you.Her work is always perfect and interesting and calm. I saw her quilt a couple of weeks ago on the QB and really wanted to tap her for her EQ page so I could do a little calculating and create a scrappy 2.5" square version of her quilt. I contacted her this morning and Ta-Da, she is giving us her layout. I may also give a try with a jelly roll. I have several that are OK but for the life of me I can't recall why in the world I bought them. This would be a good way to clean out either my pile of 2.5's or a jelly roll.

I hope this inspires you to give it a try. I will dive in, after my current semester at the university is over. May and June may be the months for me to quilt like a crazy lady.

Teen - thank you for sharing! That is a very cool design. I could see lots of possibilities with our variety of fabric candies!

Teen, thank you for that layout. That's a really sharp-looking quilt! I'd love to do one with my recycled shirts fabric. Great inspiration!

I've been out of town for a week (a blessed getaway!). Just got home tonight and have been going though a mountain of mail that's accumulated. Three envelopes are here, from WMUTeach, Hav4boys and Yarn Fairy and the Pixies... now who would that last one be? Last name is McDonnell... I haven't opened these three yet. My birthday is Friday and I'll save these for then! Thank you, all.
