Bingo! Whoopdy Doo! Woozers! Yeah! All birthday packages arrived on time and even a little, wee bit early!

I think this calls for an unplanned "contest" prize. I called on a computer randomizer and we have a winner! Macybaby, you are representing us as all as diligent, "on-time" swappers this month of May! Watch for something to arrive in the mail in the next week.

I just sent the June Birthday List to all. If there are errors, do let me know. Enjoy your fine spring day as you pack up your little treats and send them off to our June birthday gals. How is everyone doing? We haven't heard from some of you in a long time. Just a quick check in would be grand.

Happy May 20th. According to a crazy online calendar, today is National Rescue Dog Day and National Be A Millionaire Day. OK, what you would do with a million dollars?

I got my list of June birthday girls. I'll try to get the candies in the mail today or tomorrow so I don't forget when we go away for a week. We are taking our first small family vacation to Kentucky to see the Ark attraction and visit some family next week. I found a cute genuine log cabin from 1850's on Airbnb we will be staying in. We are all excited and I hope that good memories are made!

That sounds like a wonderful trip, NZQuilter. I’m sure your girls will love it. Isn’t Airbnb great? My daughter has been a hostess for years.

WMU, got my list of birthdays and will mail those cards today. Here’s hoping the sorting machines don’t eat them!

I just got all 4 birthday candies in the mailbox for the mail person to pick up tomorrow.

Not too much going on here except I'm continuing physical therapy. I'm making progress, but way too slowly for my liking. Lol! Have been getting lots of rain the past few weeks.

If I had a million dollars I would invest it wisely so I could retire when I get older. Ah, that's a good dream. Lol! I used to work for a financial planner so that's always my go to. Hehehe!

All candies mailed in brown craft envelopes and my postage didn't even go up! A million dollars and my husband and I would pay off our bills, give each child enough to pay off their houses, and then travel the world, Donations to our favorite charities and $1000 to each niece and nephew just cause we can, too.

NZ, what a wonderful place to stay. I am envious. Enjoy every moment for us. A number of my friends have been to see the Ark and enjoyed it immensely.

Ibex, your are a generous person to share you million with your family in all of those ways. If we could only actually have the dollars to share with those we love.

Thanks for all of the immediate "sends" and trips to the mailbox. You gals are so organized and ready to go at the drop of message.

Arrived in PA yesterday - 20 minutes from our DD so went to dinner at her house and helped replant her veggie plants. then Dear GD watered and, well we will see if they survive!!
Beautiful Christian camp/conference center that we are staying at until next week. Peaceful which is just what I need. Still have my handwork that I can pick up and put down so keeps me sewing.
Envelopes all ready to mail when we go to town.
Enjoy your weekend

WMUteach, we keep buying lottery tickets, lol. Not enough invested in lottery tickets to affect our retirement packages, Loveofquilts, although my husband does joke that the tickets are our retirement package. As neither of us work for a company that has a pension plan, I suspect we will be working until the good Lord decides to recycle us. In the meantime we can dream of fun ways to spend money we do not have.

NZ and Travelinggramma - have a great time!

Reading about how everyone is moving and/or downsizing their houses and stashes gets me motivated to jump right in. I had to move a bunch of stuff in a hurry back in 2005, without time to sort through things, so I still have many things to go through before I have space in my garage again. At least sorting things into keep, give away, and pitch piles doesn't really cost anything but time.
