I have been working on this tumbler quilt made out my scraps. I finally have everything cut and laid out. I think it looks pretty cool. I had to cut some more solid scraps to make it work. Lol! Thoughts anyone? Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. I'm starting to feel better, yeah!

Loveofquilts, that's great! Reminds me of a rainforest. How long will it take to sew up?

Thank you, it just seemed to want to be that way with the solids that I had. Not sure how long it will take to sew up. From what I was reading and watching on YouTube you sew them in rows and they go together pretty easily. I just have to sit down and sew it. Lol! I have been cleaning my cutting mat today, so a bit tired now. Surgery makes you a big wuss, I really dislike it. I'll get better soon so just a temporary set back. I'll post pics as I sew it together.

Loveofquilts, be gentle with yourself and drink lots of water! Your body needs to flush out all the chemicals they put in you to do the surgery. Don't be surprised if you feel moody. Chemicals do that to you. Prepping projects is the best way to work through the aftermath of surgery! Quilty hugs!

Sent my envelopes out today! Yeah.... This being in charge thing sure helps me get my packages out earlier.

My "Growinig Up Odd" quilt using the 2.5 candies is making progress. (It will be like my avatar.) Three colors done: red, black and blue. On to pink, purple and then green. Looking to finish the piecing by the end of June. Fingers crossed.
