Janice, I started doing all over patterns on my embroidered quilts, and overall, I am very happy with the results. Usually I get so far behind with quilting that I go for what is fastest, and with the LA, an all over pattern is it. But they are also machine embroidery, and I might feel different if I did hand embroidery. But then if I liked hand work, I might even quilt by hand too!

I looked through my pictures and found another quilt with embroidery. This one I have some close up pictures too.

This was sort of an "orphan block" quilt. I had purchased some Christmas designs and stitched them out, without a plan on what they'd be used for. The next year I dug them out, along with some more random stuff that would work and put it all together. I was pretty happy with the results - it went for a Christmas drawing where I was working.

    Default More candies :-)

I think this one might take 2 posts in being blessed with candies! First is Crispy Frog, so dang cute I have to post a few pics. First was the sticker on the envelope, then the candie with a frog on top, little puffy hearts and quiltiy charms and needle threaders. I think I’ll run out of photo space :-) Happylab sent a pretty 5” 50s charm on top and BJSmith57 sent coordinating modern colors. Cool. thanks!

Ok for the next batch, so exciting! Ibex94 sent a beautiful flower Christmas ornament and lots of floral candies to go with. How pretty is this? Gannierosie sent a beautiful little love you charm I thought I’d highlight, AHWU sent this cute little winter friends ice skating charm on top (hugs) and Logcabin82 sent this darling Scotty. Looks like it will be 3 posts :-)
