Dj- You and your sister share the love of fabric like we do! It must be hereditary. We keep saying we'll shop each other's stash, but we don't get around to it.

I will have to pass on this swap as I don't have any oranges in my stash. Waiting to see what's next. Enjoy the swap ladies!

yahoo!! our power came back on this afternoon. Now I'm really antsy to leave and it's getting cold here. Suppose to snow at 6000' tonight and tomorrow night and we're at 5400' brrrrr. Been packing fabric and projects to take today, the important stuff Have the potatoes and onions from the garden ready to go, dehydrating is done for green peppers and the tomatoes are in the process. We may go ahead and leave next week instead of the end of the month.
Here's a pic of the pink and white quilt and the "dolly" quilt too

My package is riding the orange highway on the way to Red!

Disclaimer: I'm going to say this right now and leave it here. I shopped for many of this "orange" from the stores and my stash. When they all got together on my crafting table, they couldn't have looked more discordant. Pretty oranges suddenly looked pink- coral, which made the light orange look tan, which made the mid-oranges look gold. I threw a few extra in to each batch since I am orange-challenged apparently. I never knew this about myself.

I felt the same about my color choices..it must be Yemeni. I too am orange color challenged. Altough not as generous as you...I didn't include any extra squares in mine. You are the nicer sister 😄

Crispy...no worries, one of mine seemed suddenly less orange as well when next to the others. They will all be used. I have a project in mind for mine when they get here. I'll pull out the charms that will work for that and the rest will go into my (very full) 5" square box to be used in some future project. I'm always amazed at how good it all looks once a quilt is done when you use 50-100 fabrics together. The quirky ones add the character that keep it from being boring.
