Secret Pal, your state is home to the longest toll road in the United States.

Ok, here goes a clue for my secret pal.

Both Spain and England claimed this state for their countries between the years of 1542 and 1579

Yesterday I received this amazing package from have4boys. A rainbow of Civil War FQs, Scrap Quilting book, gum, turtle charm and the cutest vegetable pot holders. I posted a picture with the front of the pot holders showing and then a picture showing the fabric on the back. Thank you for everything. I am looking forward to making some of the patterns out of the book and using the fabrics. I really like the hand made potholders and they already went into use.

    Anna,

I am glad you liked everything. When you sent the oranges and avocados, I knew if I ever got you as a secret pal, I was going to make you farmer's market pot holders.

I am probably one of the few that is not a big fan of the civil war fabrics. I like bright and vibrant.

It seems in this swap there are many bright and vibrant fabric lovers. I have had several people that liked bright, pink, red, black and white. They also do not like brown. I can go either way as most quilts I make for others and few if any like Civil War. Personally I am big on Civil War and patriotic. Something I wonder about too is if people like batiks.
