Betty - thank you so much, and also for the intriguing details. (Off to look up 'Angelina fibre').
The Mylar-flower brings back memories of the 60s: my brother bringing home a 6" square of Mylar "skin" that had been passed out to each student in his science class, a sample of what NASA used for the Echo satellites. So wondrous and translucent when held to the light.

Pam, lovely card - looks like Earth is being "placed". I imagine there's a satellite on the other side!

Here is the earth day card I received from Nelco. I have never seen fabric like this before so that was cool and it came as a postcard (not in an envelope) so now I have a couple that have stamps and postmarks on them. I haven't been brave enough to send mine that way yet. I also like the edges on this card. I was thinking of trying a different edge than what I normally do and like the shaker card I got last month, I have learned a new technique. Thanks Nelco!

Pam, Nelda, that sure is super fun fabric! Nice card. I didn't participate this month. I still need to make one for my mom. I will get that done before Monday. I am waiting on an order of embroidery thread she needed, to come in. So, will send them both off together. You all have been very inspiring!!!

I also have several Angel cards going out tomorrow. They are ready and addressed. I am so sorry for the delay! No excuses. It was bad manners on my part. I apologize. Please let me know when you receive them. Thank you. And, I'm so sorry y'all had a bad experience in my swap.

I've never seen fabric like that either & with the green background, perfect. Nice scallops, Nelda!

Everyday I sign on to see if Betty's received my card: and then think, surely tomorrow...
