m-fay, ? about marmalade. When you start the process and soak the limes, do you leave the limes whole or cut them into chunks? Anxious to try this. ( I am not a cook)

I remember my Aunt making jelly, when I was very young, and being amazed that at some point at the end of the process she poured paraffin on top of the jelly as a seal.

I did a little research to see what things are happening in the USA in September. I think there might be some good ideas to for runners.
    1. No rhyme or reason day - take unlike things and make it work
    6. Coffee ice cream day- make a runner only using the colors of coffee
    11. Hot Cross Bun day- Isn't there a quilt pattern called this? There should be if not lets make one
    15. Felt hat day- Make a runner using felting instead of cotton.
    19. Butterscotch pudding day- The colors of butterscotch
    22. Centenarian day- a runner using 100 pieces
    25. One hit wonder day- use the one block wonder pattern for a runner

I kind of like all these ideas. My DH like the butterscotch idea for obvious reasons, he likes butterscotch. Just passing along ideas. They may help come up with something even better.
    peace

Ube ...I forgot to say ..slice thinly. I cut the limes in half, then slice thinly , avoid seeds if your lime has them, some do & others dont.

Well it was me, R-sea. The beautiful watermelon one. I had to turn on the computor and go back over the postings to find out who made it! I love it Armylady, and the fat quarters, note book and Cup cake which I'll make tomorrow!. My package had been opened by customs. (the dogs must have smelt the cup cake) but it was all wrapped up again nicely and taped up very tight. I couldnt find "armylady" on it anywhere, just your real name, so I had to wait til I could get to the computor and detect you! I'll dost a photo after this one.
