Libster and Terri, those are some great blocks, especially the "Nordic" one.

TGma, that rose is off the charts awesome! How clever to make the stripes the thread in a spools block.

Ibex, I feel compelled to remind you of how unreliable our nation's postal system is, so if, say ............................... one of your baggies doesn't make it ................................ let's just agree to blame the P.O. You gave permission not to use pastels, so even w/ my overwhelming love of all things pastel (lol lol lol) I gave your fairies a night time hang out. Hope it fits your idea of a fairy companion block.

Kass how in Billy's blue blazes do you get your stripes to line up that well. If I spent a year there is no way I could line all of them up the way you have.

When I fussy cut I use a paper template w/ markings for pattern matching, elmer's glue stick and scissors for precision cutting, it you cut exact the matching while sewing is a piece of cake. (well lots and lots of sizing too)
I was actually upset b/c I cut some of my triangles wrong and they couldn't be used, I matched the stripe to the cut edge not the sew line. But replacing the stripe w/ the purple seemed to work out okay.

Yay Kass... your stripe movement is pretty darn great, and I love the 4 butterflies. You're getting a lot of mileage out of that block! Each one looks totally different from the others.
