Oh how I've missed this swap.
I'd like to join, but can't come up with an idea for the theme

I am sure you could come up with something silly, funny, off the wall.

I am still looking for ideas.

Remember when we were so innocent?? there were few phones and the April fool was to call a store and ask "do you have Prince Albert in a can??" when the reply was yes -- they said -- "Well let him out" For you youngsters -- Prince Albert was either snuff or chewing tobacco.
Or 'is you icebox running? better go get it'

Default ideas

How about things that trick you -- yin/yang - optical illusions -- even those boxes that look different depending how you look at them -- jack in the box?????? think of the little things that little kids giggle about

Don't give up - it's fun !!!!!!! :')

Er,
Mim (not Mom...lol) love the fabrics! My autocorrect makes you Mom every time. I try to proof read and catch it...must've been slacking this time.
Ahh well, at least it's good for a laugh!

well, I guess Mom is OK. I use Mim because I embroider my name on my big quilts -- Mim is all straight lines.

BTW-- what is the pix in the lower left of your avatar -- I can make out all the other Texas designs

I love my fabrics -- and you will understand why when you see it all

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
The lower pic is a coiled rattlesnake. Lol.
Not everyone would want a snake in their quilt...but this quilt was mostly my own design, so I went with a snake that we have quite a few around my area.
I teased I was going to make my armadillo upside down on it's back and bloated, because sadly that's how we see most of them...
But I made the quilt and let my friend who owns a local quilt shop display it. So Mr. Armadillo is upright and alive.
Regards,
Kif
