I feel really concened for everybody. UK is pretty bad and the USA is going to be worse.so far Australia is mild to other countries. I don't mind spending time in isolation but I hate it that my family have to shop and deliver stores to me so I stay safe. May God and .marionall his Angels be with you. Hugs

This is the revised list. M-fay dropped for this month because she is tied down to do the quarantine. I made masks for my daughters 3 stores employees. I have been working on a lot to send to southern Florida for a friend who is a nurse. I will post names in a couple days. See ya soon.
I have been making so many mask. I have another 15 being picked up by a health professional today. I have made close to 100 mask so far and just pulled out more of the penny a yard fabrics that I got last fall to make more and my dr. asks for more too. I stopped for a day just to make my post card so it is ready when I find out who I will be sending it to.

These are difficult days for all of us fighting the Covid-19! I have only been out of my house 2x since Feb 27th. and then only to the doctor's office. DH and I are being well watch over and cared for by friends and family members who do a no contact drop off of groceries. The pharmacy does a no contact for our prescriptions which is great! Mask I have been making are also a no contact. I make them hang them in a bag on the door. When they are picked up they are picked up with fresh gloves and the door handle is then spayed by the person picking them up with a bleach/water mixture or Lysol. I know this may sound over the top but everyone seems to be so concerned because I am in a very high risk category. It is a challenge but I know this challenge is the same for all of us. Taking the time to make my post card has been a lot of fun!

I also been making and donating cloth mask, with American Sewing Guild, and South Sarasota Modern Quilt Guild. I also made mask for family sure glad I made 2 weeks ago and mailed. 2 weeks ago everyone was saying this would not be needed. What do you think now. Always keep face mask in your first aid kit. I have asthma and a diabetic 2 . I have a medical ID bracelet, I do ride my bike and walk for long distances. we have lysol spray which I am so thankful.

well back to normal in my sewing room.... going to make a pillow improv.. modern yes with round coronas on it. also have a dog shirt to make for pet and gonna make some real pot holders. I have a few more small projects. working on a quilt also. I will probably stay home an extra month or so than others, since I am high risk. Oh miss my sit and sew 4 groups. I also have a few other meet ups I enjoy, most of all our beaches are closed. We are 2 mile from the Gulf. Sarasota Siesta Key area.

everyone do what you are told and more.... Stay well.

Such a small group this month. I have been sewing masks. One person picks them up. I put them in a baggie on table outside with a canister of wipes nearby. She comes and runs up and gets them. People give her money at times so she leaves it on the table and leaves. Then she texts me when she needs more. I said I feel like a drug dealer. I have sent them to friends. A batch went to some nurses near Naples. I also sewed some for my daughter's 3 stores. Today I took a break.
I hope you are all doing well. I do bike ride around my neighborhood for exercise. My therapist called and said I could come to therapy, but I said I just wasn't comfortable with that right now.
Here is what I came up with for our exchange.

If yiu can find bungee cords, they are filled with elastic. This is what I had to resort to using.

Hello everyone. How hectic has it been for everyone? We have pulled up our boot strings tight and have answered the call for mask making.
My I pad died, which is the hotspot for my computer. So that set me back. Now my husband, is a janitor for the city, and they put him in a building where people are testing for the virus. My husband found out by hearing people talk about it. Now his boss tells him. A week after the fact. So kinda upset because he could have avoinded it all in the beginning by going to his doctor in the beginning, and getting a note. He is 65 and has copd. So now he had to get get tested and we sit and wait .He was told to help fight the virus so as not be as bad, keep hydrated and pump up on vitamin C. Maybe that will help someone on here. Up to 10 days before he gets results back. Do any of the rest of you have a stubborn headed man that just don't listen? But we are having good laughs together. We took the dogs are drove them around the block. WooHoo
But I have done masks for nurses and friends and families. I am done for awhile. Just tired. Are any of you more mentally exhausted? I must say, I am getting used to ordering groceries on line. I also went to Angel Soft on line and signed up to let me know when the get toilet paper back in and they contacted me today so I put an order in. It's t&e same as buying in the store. I know I posted for May to do state flower, but how about for May, just do something that makes you happy. I was thinking I would do a version of a string quilt. So just use what you have.
J50, I did receive your postcard and absolutely love it. Thank you for thinking of me. It really meant a lot. Thank you again.

Hi Peggy, So glad you and your man are going OK. I think the "something to make you happy" sounds a great idea. I'm sticking with my state flower as that blooms in spring and spring flowers always makes me happy. Please count me back in for May
